Front Design – Phra Pidta

The front of this amulet depicts Phra Pidta, the revered “Closed Eyes Buddha,” seated in meditation with hands covering the face. Phra Pidta is traditionally associated with protection, concealment from harm, and blocking negative influences, both seen and unseen.

This posture symbolizes the shutting out of misfortune, gossip, ill intent, and distractions, allowing the wearer to move forward with clarity, safety, and inner calm. Phra Pidta amulets are widely worn for personal protection, discretion, and safeguarding one’s path, especially during periods of challenge or transition.

The figure is sculpted in raised gold relief, with compact, grounded proportions that emphasize stillness, restraint, and spiritual containment — key qualities of Phra Pidta practice.

Back Design – Eight Rahu Guardian Yantra Grid

 The reverse side features a highly structured sacred yantra layout, centered around a square grid yantra composed of repeating khom characters. This grid represents order, stability, and the regulation of karmic forces, helping to anchor blessings and prevent spiritual imbalance.

Surrounding the central grid are eight Rahu figures, evenly positioned around the yantra. Rahu, the celestial eclipse deity, is traditionally invoked to absorb and neutralize negative energy, misfortune, and harmful influences. When arranged in an eight-directional formation, Rahu functions as a protective barrier, guarding the wearer from all directions.

This configuration creates a closed-system protective yantra:
