Luang Pu Fan Tiger & Maha Ut Protection Amulet

This powerful amulet honors Luang Pu Fan Pasato (หลวงปู่ฝั้น ปสาโท) and belongs to the distinctive “9 Chae” (9 แชะ) edition, combining the revered monk’s image with some of the strongest traditional imagery associated with courage, protection, and resilience in Thai amulet culture.

The front features a detailed portrait of Luang Pu Fan, recognizable by his distinctive knitted cap, with a pair of handguns positioned behind him. His name appears prominently beneath his portrait in Thai script. The unusual combination immediately establishes the protective character of this piece.

The reverse carries even more commanding imagery. A fierce tiger grips a blade in its mouth, surrounded by multiple firearms, sacred inscriptions, and yantra symbolism. Within Thai spiritual tradition, the tiger is traditionally associated with courage, authority, fearlessness, strength, protection, and commanding presence.

The weapons imagery connects the piece with the traditional protective concept of Maha Ut, which is particularly associated with safeguarding the wearer from physical danger and weapons. The name “9 Chae” uses the Thai word chae (แชะ), evoking the clicking sound of a trigger, reinforcing the protective symbolism represented throughout the amulet.

Together, the monk, tiger, blade, firearms, sacred inscriptions, and yantra create a piece centered around protection, courage, resilience, and remaining strong when confronted with danger or adversity.

This edition features a brilliant gold-tone amulet housed within an ornate silver-tone protective case, creating a striking contrast while preserving the intricate details on both sides.
