Front: Luang Pu Fan & Maha Udom Protection

The front depicts Luang Pu Fan seated with both hands covering his face, one of the most distinctive features of this sacred design. Although the posture is visually reminiscent of imagery seen in Phra Pidta amulets, this edition specifically identifies the monk as Luang Pu Fan.

The face-covering posture creates a powerful visual expression of withdrawing from harmful external influences symbolically closing oneself off from negativity, danger, distraction, and misfortune while turning inward toward spiritual strength.

This Green & Gold edition places Luang Pu Fan against a brilliant emerald-green enamel background, with warm gold-toned details giving the sacred figure a striking presence.

Unlike the Red & Blue edition, the crossed pistols are not immediately visible behind the monk on the front, allowing Luang Pu Fan’s distinctive posture to dominate the composition.

Reverse: Crossed Pistols & Sacred Yantra

The reverse reveals the unmistakable protective imagery of the Maha Udom tradition.

Two crossed pistols rise prominently above a central sacred yantra, accompanied by traditional sacred inscriptions. Rather than symbolizing aggression, the weapons form part of the amulet’s protective symbolism, representing the desire for danger and harmful forces to be rendered powerless against the wearer.

At the center sits an intricate sacred yantra, reinforcing the spiritual foundation of the amulet and complementing the physical-protection symbolism of the crossed pistols.

The darker reverse creates a dramatic contrast with the vivid green front, while the raised gold-toned imagery ties both sides together visually.

The vivid emerald green enamel gives this variation a very different character from the Red & Blue edition. Against the green background, the warm gold toned monk and sacred details create a rich, traditional appearance.
